Greetings and Salutations,
Just when you thought it was safe to check your email, get on your social network, or read random things on the internet…Dum Dum Dum…The Damn Newsletter is back!!!
I bring you greeting from the "A". A city that allowed the baddest and meanest sinus infection EVER. It has beaten the dog crap out of me for the last 2 weeks. Thank goodness this is typed and not broadcasted because my voice literally sounds auto tuned. And yes, it is that bad.
If you haven't heard IDLE of the Peach has finished their demo and has new music available for audio consumption at all of their social networks...here's a link to them all http://itsmyurls.com/idleofthepeach
While you're looking through all of them befriend, add, and follow them. Then after that tell a friend and have that friend repeat the process!
It's shout out time! Shout Out of the Week goes out to Jason Moore. Jason is not only a co-worker but he's like my big brother. Dude has been watching out for me and having my back since he started well over a year ago. I make you this promise homie, Once I'm on my feet, I will pay it forward to individuals that struggle to be good and fair people in a not always good and fair world in honor of you! And...buy you a chicken biscuit! Lol.
I'm fat. I don't have enough money. I don't have the right clothes. I need to get a haircut. I need a new car. I need a new place to stay. No one wants me. I can't do anything right! Does any of that sound familar? You and other people may have thoughts like that running in your head at times. Personally I always...and the Damn means always...have those thoughts in my head. To be honest, I'm not even close to where I want to be in my life and I feel that I am a failure. I have the balls to admit that to you all. Now I'm not asking that you do the same. Your issues are your issues but what I do think is that stop being your own worse enemy.
See when you are your own worst enemy, there's no way you can win. No way to prevail. How are you gonna be something that knows your every move even before you do it. It's like fight the combination of the Predator, Rambo, and Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. It's impossible.
Recognize how you see yourself is not how others do. Recoginze that you have limitations and imperfections because you are human. Recognize the time you spend mounting the negative frenzy on yourself could be spent creating a shelid of positive energy that fuels you to complete any task and conquer every obstacle. And recognize that you are not alone in how you feel because I will be reading this newletter over and over again hoping that it will sink into my stubborn ass...
But those are just my thoughts...right or wrong...just what I'm feeling at the time.
Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. LOL Gotta love a GhostBuster's reference.
