What If I Went Back to the Future???!!!

In case you didn't know... 

(And I just spoke to someone who has never seen any movies in this franchise...*sigh*...I wept for them) 


Today is 10/21/2015...the official Back to the Future Day.  



In the second installment of Back to the Future, October 21st 2015, is the date Marty McFly and Doc Brown went to the future to help Marty's future kids.  During this adventure, these two saw many futuristic creations and bold predictions about the future.  Some of those include:

Flying Cars

Automatic shoelace Nikes

Hoverboard

And of course a prediction...

Could it happen???!!!

But instead of looking at what Back to the Future got right or wrong, I decided to give my own BOLD (emphasis on the bold part) predictions on what will happen 30 years from today and create my own Back to the Future day. That way you all can look at this post 30 years from today and revel in my greatness.   

So here's what I think...

• Fashion for 2045??? Well if you want to know what fashion will look like, look no further than TV in the early 90's.  Can you say Cross Colours??? Everyone will be wearing those clothes again.

• Cubs will not only win a World Series to break the curse but in the next 10 years will win 3 championships, making this franchise a dynasty for the first time since 1908.

• Unfortunately my Lakers won't have that same success. They will only win two titles in the next 30 years.  (Hopefully that's a reverse jinx *fingers crossed*)

• Not only will we have a female President but we will have 2 within the next 30 years.  Hilary Clinton and wait for it...Michelle Obama!!!

• While we are on the subject of future Presidents...There will be a former reality star that will live in 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue by 2045. Sounds absurd, right? Well I would like to bring up 2 points: 

• 50 years ago, no one thought that a movie star would ever be president *ahem Ronald Reagan*Uh...

• Donald Trump...do you see the support he has? 

That's all I'm saying!

• Football despite what Baseball historians argue will become America's National Pastime

      ...oh wait...that already happened. Never mind.

• Active Contact Lenses will be developed by 2045.  You think Google Glass are something...makes me want to get contacts now!!!

• Virtual Porn! Hey fantasies will get more real as not only can people watch but virtually experience physical intimacy with anyone they dream of.  As a result celebrity stalker cases will increase dramatically.

• For those of you that hate going to the doctors...never fear! Doctor's Offices will be able to do a body scan from the privacy of your own home, review the information and provide a diagnosis in a couple of hours.  No more missing time off work for a routine doctor's appointment thereby...no more playing hooky from work for a "doctor's appointment".

• Robots will not only be available and affordable for most Americans...there will be a moment for lonely people to marry robots.  This movement will culminated a horrible, horrible movie that will get people thinking about it.  *sigh*

But those are just my thoughts...right or wrong...just what I was feeling at the time!!!
