Sasha Banks...The Most Complete Female Wrestler in the last 2 decades...

Greetings and Salutations,



For the first time in years, I am highly anticipating a Monday Night Raw (that isn't the one after 'Mania).  Why? Is it the return of the Undertaker? Anxious about how Brock Lesnar will get his revenge on the Deadman and the Architect?  The rumors of a Sting appearance for Summer Slam?  



No, no, no!!! 



I'm excited for the Divas' Division and what is on the horizon.  Seriously...no, I'm not joking.  Last Monday on Raw, Stephanie McMahon set the table for what the WWE machine is calling the Divas Revolution.  3 teams of 3.  In the midst of these newly created factions is the excitement of 3 NXT Divas getting called up.  But as far as I'm concern, there is only one person that is the epicenter of the phenomenon...and her name is Sasha Banks.  




I have gone on record to not only say that I'm a fan of Ms. Banks.  But I feel like she is the best female wrestler in the last 20 years.  Yes...the last 2 decades.  I realize this time frame encompasses extremely talented women in the business like Micki James, Melina, AJ Lee, Paige, and 2 WWE Hall of Famers...Lita and Trish Strauss (my personal favorite).  I stand behind what I am saying.  Before it's all said and done, she will be considered the best.  Here's why...

• She is beautiful and her look is marketable.  Hey...say what you want but wrestling is a mostly cosmetic business.  She has worked hard to create a impressive physical presentation. As you can see from the picture to the right, she's a natural beauty. Thankfully she does not resemble her famous cousin Snoop Dogg.  Sorry Snoop but big homey would make a less than attractive woman.  

• She's got the talent.  Some of the things she can do in that ring are absolutely amazing.  If you consider that she's only been wrestling for 5 years and in the WWE system for 3 years, her skills will only improve. Sasha's implementation on the main roster makes already one of the top performers there.  With in year, she should be a multiple times Divas Champion. #Bankonit 

• She can sell.  What seems to be a lost art in this business, she clearly enhances everyone she's in the ring with.  Matches with Charlotte, Becky Lynch, and Bailey that Sasha has had in recent months are been fantastic.  Okay for the skeptics that say well those are her friends...of course they are good, take a look at last night's Battleground WWE special.  Yes, it was a triple threat match but Sasha's ability to sell made Brie look good in this match.  And when's the last time anyone said that Brie Bella looked good (performance-wise not physically) in a match.

Charlotte and Becky Lynch are incredible wrestlers added to the main roster. Paige and Natalya are great establish ring technicians.  The Bella Twins have tremendous star power.  But there's something special about Sasha Banks.  She will be a force in the wrestling industry for years to come. And you can take that...to the Bank!

Those are just my thoughts...right or wrong...just what I'm feeling at the time.
